Competency Champions: Place-Based Teams
Driving the implementation of competencies for the Nevada Portrait of a Learner in learning communities across the state
Meet the Competency Champion Teams
With support from the Nevada Department of Education and KnowledgeWorks, Competency Champions will participate in professional learning and actively collaborate with other champions across the state. Competency Champions will work in place-based pairs to drive the implementation of competencies for the Nevada Portrait of a Learner in their learning communities and on their campuses. Based on field experience and feedback, champions will then refine the competencies and create supporting resources for educators to scale the implementation of personalized, competency-based learning in Nevada.
